Can I use a different sweetener?
As I always mention. I use Splenda Granulated Zero Calorie sweetener as it does not increase my blood glucose levels. I find that sweeteners that contain sugar alcohols elevate my blood sugar. Sometimes it is as if I ate a non-sugar-free product. If this is not a concern for you, by all means, use your favourite sweetener. Any substitution can alter the final nutritional information.
How do I store my Sugar Free Chocolate Cream Pie?
Store this pie covered and refrigerated for up to 5 days. I find that after a few days it starts to become liquidy. For the best result, use within the first couple of days. Cover with plastic wrap or place in an airtight container.
Can I freeze this pie?
You can, but I don’t recommend it. During thawing, the pie can become runny and the filling can separate. If you are looking to save time, I recommend only freezing the crust. Making the filling only takes a few minutes and the rest of the time is chilling time.

Diabetic Sugar Free Chocolate Pudding Pie Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 pkgs Jello Sugar Free Chocolate Pudding Pie Filling Mix
- 2 Cups Milk – Skim
- 4 Oz Cream Cheese – room temperature -softened
- 4 Cups Sugar Free Cool Whip
- 1 Sugar Free Chocolate Crumb Crust -chilled
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, cream the cream cheese with an electric mixer.
- Add the skim milk and beat until thoroughly combined.
- Add the powdered sugar-free Jello chocolate pudding mix and continue mixing.
- When the mixture is well combined, fold in 3 cups of sugar-free Cool Whip.
- Pour mixture into chocolate crumb crust.
- Refrigerate for at least 3 hours to allow the pie to set.
- Just before serving, spread the remaining 1 cup of cool whip over the top of the pie.
- Garnish with grated chocolate, if desired.
