Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Cups King Arthur Keto Wheat Flour
  • 3 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Cup Butter - Cold
  • 3/4 Cup Milk
  • 1/2 Cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese - Shredded

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 °F
  • Sift Flour, Baking Powder, Baking Soda and salt into a mixing bowl.
  • Add the grated cheese to the flour mix and toss to evenly distribute the cheese.
  • Cut cold butter into cubes.
  • Using a pastry blender, cut the butter into the flour until you have loose crumbs.
  • Make a well in the center of the crumbs.
  • Pour the milk into the well.
  • Mix just until dough sticks together.
  • Lightly flour countertop or silicone kneading mat.
  • Lightly knead the dough on the floured surface. (10-12 times)
  • Roll the dough into 1/2 inch thickness.
  • Using a biscuit cutter, cut into 10 equal sized rounds
  • Transfer biscuits to a parchment lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden.
  • In a small microwave safe bowl, melt the remaining butter.
  • Remove from the oven and brush with melted butter.
  • Serve warm.
