Ingredients

Frozen Strawberries
1/3
cup
Splenda Granulated Sweetener
1/3
cup
Water
1
tsp
Lemon Juice
2
tbsp
Cornstarch
2
tbsp
Warm Water
Instructions
In a medium sized saucepan, add strawberries, lemon juice, 1/3 cup of water and Splenda.
Cook over medium heat, bringing to a boil.
Reduce the heat and mash to the desired consistency with a potato masher.
In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and warm water
Add the cornstarch mixture to the strawberries and mix well.
Simmer for about 5 minutes and then remove the pan from the heat,
Allow the sauce tocool for at least 2 hours. The sauce will thicken while cooling.
Notes
The final amount of sauce depends on how much you mash the strawberries.
Typically, you can expect roughly 1.5 cups of sauce (24 tbsp), containing 1.7grams of net carbs per tbsp. resulting in approximately
