Ingredients

  • 1 lb Shrimp - Large or Jumbo- deveined and peeled.
  • 3 tbsp Splenda Sugar Free Multi-Use Syrup (Honey replacement)
  • 3 clovrs Garlic -minced
  • 1 tbsp Canola oil
  • 1 tbsp Soya Sauce

Instructions

  • Rinse shrimp under cold water and set aside while you make the sauce.
  • In a mixing bowl, add all of the sauce ingredients and whisk.
  • Add the shrimp to the sauce and stir well to coat.
  • Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes,
  • Preheat BBQ or Grill to medium heat.
  • Thread the shrimp onto the skewers, dividing the shrimp up between 6 skewers.
  • Place the skewers on a baking tray.
  • Brush both sides of the shrimp with some of the remaining sauce.
  • Place skewers onto the grill.
  • Grill each side for 4 minutes brushing with the remaining sauce when turning over. (or until shrimp is cooked through)
  • Remove from grill and garnish with cut chives, if desired.
  • Serve hot.
