- 4cups fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1/4 cup Splenda granulated sweetener
- Water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thicker sauce)

How to Make Sugar Free Blueberry Sauce
- Combine ingredients
Add blueberries, sweetener, water, and lemon juice to a small saucepan over medium heat. - Cook and soften
Stir occasionally as the blueberries warm and begin to burst, releasing their juices. This takes about 5 to 7 minutes. Mash them slightly with a potato masher. - Thicken (optional)
If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of water to create a slurry. Stir into the saucepan and cook for another 1to 2 minutes until glossy and thick. - Cool slightly
Remove from heat. The sauce will continue to thicken as it cools. - Serve

Instructions
- Wash blueberries thoroughly.

- When the blueberry mixture starts to bubble, mash some of the blueberries until you get the consistency you want.
- Stir in the cornstarch mixture and stir, making sure there are no lumps.
- Remove from the heat and allow to cool. (the sauce will thicken when cooling)
- Store in a jar or sealed container in the refrigerator.
